Hello. We are Zojirushi.

Here’s what we know. (Info)

Here’s what we know. (Info)

It all started with a boom in Japan! A breadmaker boom that started with the push of a button. Prior to this, very few people baked bread at home because it was a time consuming process. That all changed with the first breadmakers that could bake a whole loaf right in the machine. Even though our early breadmakers could only do basic white bread and dough, we’ve come a long way since then.

Zojirushi and Bread

Back in the days, baking with a click of a button meant.

  • Kneading Dough

Manually kneading the dough was the most time consuming and hardest part of the process of baking bread. Pushing the button meant the dough started kneading automatically.

  • Rising

Breadmakers can adjust temperatures when rising the dough. Fine tuning the temperature and the time during dough rising was now automatic too, which took care of a lot of baking mistakes.

  • Shaping and Baking

Once the dough rises and gets shaped inside the baking pan, the breadmaker brings it to the final stage of baking. After it bakes, the keep warm function eliminates the need to take it out quickly.

Zojirushi and Styles

There are 2 systems and 2 sizes. Let us show you.

  • Our Basic Breadmakers

It might be basic, but it will still bake white, whole wheat, make dough, even cake and jam. A crust control adjusts doneness, and some models have a homemade course.

  • Crust Control

The crust control fine tunes the doneness of your finished bread. When preselected, it will bake to your taste of crust browning.

  • Single Heater

A single heater does all the work. The key to baking is to accurately measure the ingredients and select the correct baking course.

  • Our Advanced Breadmakers

All advanced models come with the homemade course and additional special breads like sugar free and multigrain. Some can add ingredients automatically.

  • Homemade Course

This custom setting allows you to adjust kneading, rising and baking times to accomodate your specific recipe.

  • Double Heaters

Two heaters raise the inner temperature quicker, allowing the bread to rise more and bake softer breads than the single heater models.

Breadmaker Safety

Safety functions are always on our mind, for you to enjoy bread baking thoroughly.

  • Kneading Cycle Safety

During kneading, if you need to take out the dough for shaping or open the lid to add ingredients, the blades stop automatically.

  • Lid Open

If the lid is ajar for any reason, the breadmaker will not operate properly. A blinking “LID” warning will show on the display until closed.

  • “HOT” Warning

If the breadmaker gets too hot from baking, it will shut down until it has a chance to cool down before baking your next loaf.

  • Motor Safety

An automatic safety feature stops the motor during the kneading cycle if it gets overworked. After about one hour of rest, it will run normally again.

  • Power Outages

If power goes out while in use, the internal memory can pick up where it left off within 5 minutes. You will need to start over if it’s longer.

  • What to do?

Most troubleshooting can be done by referring to the user manual. If not, just contact our customer service and get full support.
